Due to consistent low turnout at Chandler Mountain (average around
40 riders) we will not be allowed to return to this track for the 2007
season. This was a feared response from the low numbers, but expected
none the less.
We have had numerous conversations about this on
the forums here, in person with various riders, and with various track
owners. Business is business and at the end of the day a motocross
track must make a profit. We at SEQuads harbor no hard feelings toward
the ownership at Chandler Mountain and we ask that you, the riders, do
the same. Sammy and crew worked hard at each and every race to provide
us with a great facility on which to race. We are grateful for that.
This
is a sign of what is to come in response to low rider turnout. If this
series is to continue in the coming years, obviously our numbers must
increase. We all realize that. Now, we are asking you how we can
increase the numbers. This series, more than any other series on the
planet, is designed specifically for the rider. For that reason, the
rider should know how we can increase the numbers. Please share any
ideas you may have.
